24 weeks {What I Know Now}

• Pierce is still a boy!!!! We had a follow up ultrasound today because last time Pierce was laying breech and they weren't able to view his heart like they wanted to. They had no concerns, but couldn't get clear enough pictures. Today Pierce was much more cooperative. We even came home with a new picture. Only instead of a profile, we received a picture of him face up. We can make out his eye sockets, mouth, nose and even his little elbows from having his hands in front of his head. Even though it is a little creepy, it is still amazing!! 
• I can use the restroom 10 minutes before my appointment and still give a urine sample 10 minutes later. My bladder never empties... 
• Leaning over to pull weeds makes me nauseous!! But oh the reward of a weed free yard!
• Rice Krispie treats haven't tasted this good!!! Especially when you add some M&M's!! 
• I am getting more and more uncomfortable. Our couch used to be the best couch ever, now it is a nuisance. I prop myself up with a pillow behind my back - which works, for a while. I wake up, on average, 6 times a night... but luckily I am falling back asleep somewhat quickly. I claim it is Pierce getting me ready for those nights when he is here. It puts a smile on my face each time. I just want to wake up to his face now. It would make it SO much easier to go on less sleep.
• I can still hide the ultrasound gel in my belly button for hours at a time! This means the belly button is still not getting close to poppin out anytime soon!!
• Making a baby mobile is both rewarding and exhausting. But only 2 days of work and it is complete! Now to get a good place in the nursery for pictures... stay tuned!!
