Why does Jerry think that our iPad is a pillow? He has the entire bed to lay on, which is softer, but tends to go towards the iPad to lay on...

12 weeks 2 days {What I Know Now}
- We guessed our baby's due date correctly {thank you internet}. August 6th is the big day!!!
- Seeing our baby today at our first OB appointment was even better than I had dreamed it would be. Healthy heart beat of 181!! Too bad we were not able to hear it.... our tech was apparently in a hurry. At least she takes great pictures! Scottie and I fought over holding it the entire time we waited for our appointment with the doc and during lunch after. I usually won; he is afraid of the hormones already.
- Our baby is already measuring a week ahead of time. The question is, will we have this baby early or will we just have a bigger baby? I aim for early... but the doc begs to differ.
- Hiding my morning sickness at work is easy. Probably because I am one of the first ones there that early. Plus flu season helps... and working in a clinic doesn't raise much question to getting sick.
- Quitting caffeine is easier than I thought.... Yes it has been hard, but it was easier that I thought!!! The wake me up morning coffee is the hardest!
- The bloating has started...
- Naming a girl is harder than naming a boy. Although the middle name for a boy seems harder than the middle name for a girl.
- I can still sleep on my stomach, for now. Thank you Tempur-Pedic bed.

11 weeks {What I Know Now}
- The beginning of the baby bump feels like I am just getting fat. I wonder what my co-workers think as they still are not aware we are expecting.
- A long car trip with 2 puppies while pregnant and nauseous, will NEVER happen again. It's now me or the puppies to stay home.
- The bet is, will I ever have an outie belly button or will it stay an innie forever? Thank you appendicitis for giving me a cave for a belly button...
- I wonder how large my feet will really grow... I mean I already wear an 11. Will I have to borrow my husband's ski's? Cause that could cause a wardrobe change.
- Is it ever too early to stock up on diapers?

About Us
With our lives changing.... it was only right to change the direction of this blog:
Our family began on August 4, 2007 when we exchanged our vows and walked down the aisle at a beautiful winery in Caldwell, ID. After a year in North Dakota, we settled down back in Kristin's roots of Idaho. We bought our first house in November 2009 and currently reside in Kuna, ID. Seven months after that we brought home Ben & Jerry, our two shih tzu's. Definitely brothers, but extremely different personalities as Ben is the curious, gutsy one while Jerry is a momma's boy. We are adding our first child this August 2011. Our basketball team is officially starting... with a boy!!!! We couldn't be any happier.
By day, Scottie's job is to teach Juniors and Seniors at Vallivue High school why English matters. By night, he coaches the Varsity Boys Basketball team.
Kristin manages Pediatric Subspecialty Clinics downtown Boise. Each day is filled with new adventures and she loves every minute of it.
Our blog will have everything to do with our daily life regarding us. Most to be posted by Kristin, very direct and to the point, with some coming from Scottie and his witty English background. We imagine most will be able to tell the difference as Kristin is short and sweet while Scottie tends to ramble {ask his students and players}.

Day 259
Today the boys had a long day. We decided it was time to get them neutered.
All they did was sleep all afternoon... So cute.
