Day 13

33 mph COLD wind today. Hurry up WARM summer!

These are the rocks we found in the ground this past weekend.... and this was only around the edge of our backyard. Imagine how many there really are.

I missed the hail storm, but was home in time to see what was remaining in our yard. Gotta love Idaho weather.

Today was my first official day of working in our yard!!! So instead of one picture, you get two. The before and after.

Day 8

A great bottle of wine that we enjoyed tonight.  My husband has held onto this bottle since his Grandparents gave it to him on his 21st birthday {7 1/2 years ago}.  It was well worth the wait.

Day 7

Cavo, Lifehouse and Daughtry!!! Thanks to my sister's friend giving up his ticket!

Day 6

Our neighbor had yet to realize his sprinklers were flooding ours!! He wasn't home tonight for us to tell him, so cross your fingers that he is home this weekend.

Day 5

Tomorrow night is a fundraiser for the Boise High Girl's Basketball Team.  I was put in charge of making A LOT of goodies fit into ONE basket.  Amazingly enough, I did it!

Day 4

It was time for new brake pads and rotors on the Malibu.  We {and when I say we, I mean my dad} took the tires off on Saturday because we called ahead and were told the auto store had the brake pads and rotors in stock. Well... after we drove 20 miles downtown to this auto store, we found out they mis-informed us and had none in stock. What to do next? Instead of putting it back together to wait for the new ones, we left the car as it was until tonight. What better picture than my poor car on only 2 wheels...

Day 3

Since we rearranged our living room and kitchen last Friday, I now need to find a new place for this. Any suggestions? I personally feel it looks great out side in our weeds, but my husband begs to differ.

Day 2

My nephew, getting a bath in the kitchen sink.... Normally I would have cleaned up the background a little, but there was no time if I wanted to catch this moment.

Day 1

No better place to start than in our growing backyard... Some weeds are somewhat pretty. What do you think?

The Camera

The soon to be famous camera, Sony Cyber-shot DSC H-2.  This camera has taken some AMAZING photos for me over the past 5 years.  Wow, I didn't realize it was that "old." Too bad I don't have the dream camera... yet, but I also do this for a hobby and not professionally and this is a great family camera to have.

Change ... Again

I know we have lived in our house for only 6 months, but for some reason I felt a change was to be made. I was tired of nearing hitting my face on our "hutch" in the entrance way. The top part is right at my eye level and when I get up at 5am for those early morning workouts, I nearly give myself a black eye!! Today was the day for a change.  Here is a reminder of where it was:

I decided the best place {for now} is in the kitchen!!! So instead of being outside this afternoon during the nice weather, Scottie and I moved furniture around. Here is the after:

Driving Range

Since it was a nice day out and we both were off work fairly early, we decided to go to Scottie's work so he could practice on the driving range. You may think I am crazy for coming along, but the reality is, I enjoy it just as much as him. Not only do I get a little vitamin D but I get to take a few pictures. I am not sure why but I thought these pictures look amazing in sepia....
