My sister-in-law Renee would be so proud of us! No more sheet hanging up on the front window, we have blinds!!!!! We only bought one set to put up so I can see if I really like them. And I do love them so the next step is finishing all the windows! Baby steps.

A "New" Fridge
Who would have thought that it is this easy to paint a white fridge black?
Here is the before:
And here is the after:
It doesn't even look the same! It did take some time though. Three layers of auto paint primer and then four layers of appliance spray paint. Yes, spray paint!! I am still amazed with how well it turned out. Now it is time to get our house so we can see it in our kitchen!!!

Highstreet {Ste. Chapelle Winery}
Thank you Gramm and Gramps!
HighStreet took the stage promptly at 1:00pm. They walked out of the audience in their flashy neon-colored zoot-suits and kicked it off with an up-beat number that got the audience moving. We loved how they all brought such different talents to the table, and how each of them took turns at singing songs. They had wireless mics on some of the instruments (sax, trombone, etc.), and would walk around the crowd as they played their numbers. Great fun, especially when they'd approach some of the kids in the crowd!
We do love to take our own picture. I believe we have hundreds of this pose. Sometimes we do switch sides. It all just depends! The best part is when someone walks up and offers to take our picture. Usually we say yes, but there are a few times when we have declined and we sure get crazy looks from them. They just don't understand how long Scottie's arms are so really, we get a great picture.... at least we think so!
We had a bottle of Ste. Chapelle's 2006 Riesling.
It is a favorite of ours... probably because we had that wine the day we were married.
The photographer in me had to take some pictures of this beautiful winery.
This is the tasting room. I love the shape of the building.... very unique.
Again, we had to take a picture of ourselves. We are not mad, I promise. It was very bright out and the only way to get a picture with the tasting room behind us was to face the sun.
Awwwwwww......

Boise State Football
Thanks to a co-worker of Scottie's we were able to go to the Boise State game tonight. I know Scottie is a Coug fan, but I think deep down he enjoys watching the Broncos. Plus my stepmom had a tailgate party for Pioneer Title Company. Free food and a free football game; we couldn't have asked for a better Saturday night!!!![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqIS2JJ8PD_yidAxWndaYfoxNOi20auW5w_F_8ImgoqIkW-5u4GpQsK-sxOsqEqQ_wStfI4HOOkrLoufvKCEwxV2z2xcAZA19w9qw0uddMI5Dv1plv-iY5Rv6i-Qhfk4WK-ESYrW5S8T4Y/s320/DSC02063.JPG)
My niece Leigha {on the left} and cousin Lauren spent over an hour making these signs for a local radio station, Magic 93.1. They heard on the radio that they could win cds and/or concert tickets if they had a sign on their car while tailgating for the Broncos.

Nicole {Class of 2010}
It has almost been 10 years since I graduated high school, which means my little sister, Nicole graduates this year! This also means I get to take her senior photos. I was so excited when she asked me for a couple reasons.
1. My 17 year old sister thinks I take good pictures. That is a HUGE compliment. I LOVE YOU SISTER!
2. I am able to take pictures that Nicole will like, as well as ones that the parents will like.
3. We can take pictures ALL year round!!
So we officially had day 1 today. These pictures were all taken downtown Meridian. Actually, all of these were taken at City Hall. This was my first time there and it has some great places. I believe it is only a few years old.
Here are a few of my favorites.

House Construction
Scottie and I are taking our next step together and buying a house. It will be a brand new house and has officially been started. We will be living in Kuna close to my brother, his wife and their kids. My stepsister, her husband and their kids are also close by! Scottie and I are pretty excited and anxious. These next few months will go by very slow.
Here is our lot, aka Lot 7, Block 1 in the Silvertip subdivision.
Kodiak Bear Place is our street!

Easton {newborn}
These pictures are priceless.....
Easton is only 4 days old.
It is almost like he was smiling. I couldn't imagine that this position would be too comfortable for someone, but Easton must have known his dad was holding him because we were able to get some amazing pictures.
Sometimes the best pictures are those not planned.
For those who are curious, this was how we did the photos. Outside in the backyard with my brother's black shirt as the background. Camera's are amazing aren't they?

Canyon County Fair
Tonight we went to the local Canyon County Fair!!
We found a place on the ground just in time to watch Jake Owens!
He puts on a great show. Not only did he entertain us with his songs, but he made a little remix of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Pair Restaurant
Thanks to a friend, Scottie and I had an AMAZING meal at Pair Restaurant downtown Boise last night. I had unbelievable food, wine and company. Even the rain outside did not ruin the date. We highly recommend this restaurant to others and look forward to our next visit.
